Our Mission

My Business is Black mission is “to improve and advance the quality of business for black-owned businesses.” We can do this through the power of networking, resources, support, and education. We believe that Together We Can Strive, We Can Thrive, and We Can We Survive.

We envisions a society that ensures a successful future for black-owned businesses. We have created a platform that not only celebrates black-owned businesses but gives them a fighting chance to survive.

My Business is Black was created by several black-owned businesses to help level the playing field for black-owned businesses. This platform will help African Americans to start a small business and build something solid. Senator Elizabeth Warren stated, “this is a fight we must all see as our own because the challenges facing Black businesses are rooted in big, structural problems.” Only 50 percent of small-businesses survive after year 5, and we wanted to give black-owned businesses a fighting chance to escape the 5-year curse.
